hello friends,
I had a successful interview yesterday and I got AIP and OWP right away.(after a long long wait though)
Applied in Sep2008.
Case transferred to CIC in March 2009
Interview arranged on March2011.
My question is what will come next?and how long will it take to get PR?few months or more?
thanks

That depends from case to case. Some people can get PR interview in a couple of months and others in a few years.
If your background clearances are straightforward then I can't see it taking any longer than 3-6 months. And if you haven't received any notification from them in that long then I would go ahead and order your FOSS notes. They should mention how your security checks are going. On a side note, the approximate average from the CIC site states it is another 9 month wait after getting AIP to getting PR interview.

By the way, CONGRATULATIONS!
May I ask what the interview was like and what questions were asked?
