Hello all,

Just a query to understand the time window to move to canada once you get a PR?  I am a little worried that it may not be sufficient enough time to sell the house and get move.

The COPR (visa) will be valid for 1 year from the date of the medical or the expiry of the passport, whichever comes first.  There is nothing stopping you from "landing" and then returning home to dispose of your assets, as long as you reside for 2 years in every 5 year period in Canada to maintain your PR status.
