it usually takes 10-12 month after you sent in application to receive the test date.

look like nowadays it take more.going on 20 mths have not received anything.

The local office has 8 months to schedule the test for you after your file was transferred. You can call CIC call centre to find out the date of transfer. If your file was transferred more than 8 months ago, than the agent can send a message to the local office, asking them to schedule the test ASAP.

Oh look like it can happen before or after  October 2012.Last time I called they said may be October or next year ?? Do not know who is giving the true information.It is getting stressful at times I just forget about it completely.......
