I am living in one of the GCC country an di would like to know regarding the further step after medical and how much time it will take for landing after medical examiniation.

It may take upto 4 months after medical for PPR. Not necessary but the standard. Upon receiving PPR, u will have 45 to 60 days to submit original passports with latest pics and RPRF (if not paid earlier). Visa stamping may take upto 6 weeks. Visa stamping period largely depends upon VO. It could be less.

In my case (VO London), i received PPR with in 15 days after Medical. Passports were returned with visas in 22 days.

i appeared for medical in August and results were received at their end on August 09,2010 but still there is no response. what should i do?

Hi Mani.......I did my medicals in mid July and till date no response from Immigration office...I send a case specific inquiry and they say to wait...........so i am waiting............Lets hope we get a positive response very soon.......
