I am completing application form (IMM0008) and I have got to a question which talks about National Identity Document (page 4).  I have no Idea what this National Identity Document would be with regard to me as a British Citizen...

Can somebody indicate what this National Identity Document might be, let me know how important it is document is with regard to the application process (I mean will my application be delayed or rejected if I don't have one?).

thanks

Some countries require their citizens to have a national identity card.  The UK, and many other countries, don't.  As it doesn't apply, simply put N/A.  I did, and it had no effect on my processing.
