hi Mike0810

The most difficult part for me would have to be the listening potion of the test because you will only be able to listen to the questions once.

I took the Academic writing  module last November and I think the most difficult portion was the Writing part...  for listening, all the answers are in the conversation being played so all you need to do is just listen very carefully. for writing, however, you have to compose from scratch. there is time limit and required number of words, etc....

listening, because you hear the conversation only once, also the last part of it is more difficult than the initial parts. also if you miss a single sentence, you may get confused with the rest of the conversation.

writing.
i got 9 bands in reading, 8.5 bands in listening and 7.5 bands in speaking.
However I only got 6.5 bands in writing despite the fact that it was a section on which I spent most of my time for preparing the IELTS exam  Sad

Definitely the listening part. I had to really concentrate and make sure I didn't miss anything out!

 Cheesy

Writing is the most difficult part for Acad, i guess.

In Speaking, you just have to pray for Luck.. some examiners are generous in giving grades, some are not!

Reading is the hardest one for me. After that it is writing.  Listening and speaking are the easiest sections.

I got 8 overall, Listening 8.5, Reading 8.0, Speaking 7.5, Writing 7.5.

I don't say Writing is difficult but you need to practice hard because there is a specific time limit and u need to address the question correctly while fulfilling the minimum no. of words.
