Hi.
I am currently 5 months pregnant my due date is Arpil 25th I am a US citizen, I have been residing in Canada for the last year as a tourist ( I stay 6 months at the time), I am not a Resident yet, and I dont have any kind of insurance or coverage. I am outside of canada for a couple of months now and my housband (who is canadian) and I are planning on having our child In canada. I am going back to Canada in February after I star my 6th.
Anyone has an Idea of What it will cost for me to give birth in Victoria BC? My housband works in BC and he has MSP and I am not covered since I am not a resident.

It is cheaper if you have it at home with a midwife.  I have heard as low as 3 grand.  In hospital it could easily cost 5 to 10,000 or more.  If there are complications, definitely more.

In some cities, there are free clinics that might help but I don't know if there is one in Victoria.
