This is one of the requirements in applying working permit "as you enter Canada". Does anybody know the process and timeline of applying working permit upon entry?

If the applicant is a spouse of an international student and has already multiple temporary resident visa, will he illegible to apply working visa as he enters Canada? Please share your inputs on this matter. Thanks

As long as there is an employer who applied for LMO and got an approval from Service Canada, anyone who is legally admitted in Canada can apply for a Work Permit.

Only those who are from a visa-exempt country and have a positive LMO or their job is LMO-exempt can apply at the POE. A spouse can come as a visitor and apply for a work permit within Canada at CPC-Vegreville.
