What is supposed to happen after i send away to CPC mississauga?

Hello again all.

Just wondering.... it has been about two weeks since CPC MIssissauga has received the documents i submitted for PR on behalf of my wife currently living in Singapore. I assumed that i would receive an email from them stating they had received our application and here is our case number for future reference. However i have not heard a peep. Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal.  They will not confirm they received your application so I hope you sent it via a trackable method that allowed you to confirm receipt at CPC-M.  They are currently taking 66 days to approve sponsors (on average), and it is not until then that you will hear anything from them.

So these 66 days are calendar days i would assume which would basically mean about 3 months?

66 calendar days is just over 2 months, not quite close to 3, that's more on the order of 90 days.

Actually i meant to say working days which means it would be around 3 months but if it is indeed calendars (which you imply) that it must be around 2 months. Thank you for the reply.
