We are traveling to Michigan from Boston in December for my son's wedding.  Will I need a Passport just to drive through?

No, proof of citizenship, but you will need one to re-enter the US as of 01/June/09.

Thanks for the info.  So I will need a passport to re-enter the US from Canada?  Wow guess I might as well fly.
