What is meant by 'date of application' ?

Dear All

One requirement of work expereince is that it has to be 1 year continuous paid work, and this has to be done in the LAST 10 YEARS from date of application.

I filled my IM form in October 2003. This case was delayed and filed later in August 2004 (thats when they started processing it and gave me file number)

After 6 years now I have a letter saying they are ready to process it. They are also asking for all work experiences from 10 years prior to application date until today.

So basically what is the application date ?

Is it oct 2003 when the form was signed
is it Aug 2004 when they received the application and gave me file number

or is it now, dec 2010 when I got this letter saying they are ready to process ?

Just consider the date when you send your application, send your complete work experience detail from the date of your application send.

But remember! it will be better to send your complete detail since 2001 to 2010 whether are you studying or working? send them all.
