Hello,

I heard lot of time this word AOR... I m guessing it is a date when cic receieve our application or start processing??

Kindly let me know what is meaning of AOR?

Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR), Yes, it is the date that CIC received your application and they acknowledged you.

There is one AOR from Sydney (which is the same as the letter when they tell you to send your documents to the visa office).
There is one AOR from your visa office (which is the real acknowledgement).

I am not an expert at Canadian Immigration.
Please don't expect me to answer if your post title has urgent in it and it is not really urgent. Urgent is 911 or you have a definite deadline tomorrow, not that you would like to send in the application soon

Thanks, I was wondering this myself.
They said my application was received December 12th... still waiting.
