Hello Everyone,

Seems forever at BUffalo as compared to other visa offices.  What if my time in the US is over and I would need to return back to my home country?  what will happen to my skilled worker application?

I'm an F1 student so if in case I would need to return back to my home country, I don't know if my application will be transfered to my home country's local visa office.

Anybody went through this?

THanks,

THanks,

1.  You have to request Buffalo to transfer your application and they will only do it if it "enhances the immigration program"
2.  If they don't transfer, then if there is a an interview, it will be in the US and you also have to figure out a way to get your passport back from Buffalo, if you receive COPR.  Buffalo will not mail/send passports outside it's processing area.
