What if I have to go back to India from USA

Hello gurus,
Thanks for replying to my query. My wife (Principal applicant) and I have applied to AINP (US H1B stream). My questions are:

1) In case my H1B renewal (replied for RFE) gets denied and I have to go to India with my wife being here, what happens to our AINP application ? Do we need to update Alberta that I am no longer in the U.S. ? I do not think this will impact our nomination but my query is more along lines of if there is a NEED for us to update them that my (not the principal applicant) status in U.S. has changed ?
2) Also, in parallel, I am working on finding a job (temporary work visa) in Canada. Lets say I get a job (permanent) in Toronto. As this is not in Alberta, do you think this will affect our AINP application ? Again, I am not the principal applicant and my wife is (will continue to live in U.S. at least we get Canadian PR).
