Hi Seniors,

I have been working with this organization since Jan-2005 as finance manger. At the time of my joining it's name was "Nextec CNC", but in Oct 2007, the directors of the company changed it's name to "Nextec Engineering". I am still in this organization working as Finance Manager. However, every other particulars of teh coamany are unchanged.

Question 1: Declaring personal hisytory at Sr# 11 of Schedule 1-Background Declaration, how to account for Period "before and after change of name")
Question 2: Will Immigration officer consider my working experience of two companies or one company with old & new name?

Moreover, avalable documents are as:
Appointment Letter of "Nextec CNC"
Old Salary Slips (Jan-2005 to Oct-2007) of Nextec CNC
Recommendation Letter of "Nextec Engineering".
New Salary Slips (Nov-2007 to To Date) of Nextec Engineering.

Please guide.......

I had the same issue with my application. When I joined one of my previous companies, the company name was "ABC Co." and while I was working there, the name changed to "XYZ Co." My employment contract is from ABC Co. and my service letter is from XYZ Co.

So I asked the HR Manager of that company, what to do about it. She gave a letter confirming that ABC Co. changed its name to XYZ Co. on XX/XX/XXXX date and the relevant business registration IDs for both companies are one and the same. I submitted this document with my application.

Companies getting merged, acquired by other companies, changing names etc. are quite common and usually employees get letters in different company letter heads so I don't think that it's much to worry about.

I hope this is helpful for you.
