Hi there! my dedicals expired on September 23, 2011. Shoul i re-do the medicals or wait for the VO to contact me?

I go for redo and send them to buffalo so there is an update on your file might help shave off time but its up to the individuals and they may ask for another redo although they are not to so u can redo and send new pics and police clearance as well because that also expire in a year

Which visa office are you from? Pakistan has a timeline of 24 months & all the applicants have to redo their medicals. And yes, they also explored the option of redoing a medical on their own to save time. But unfortunately, it does not work for them. They need to take show their letter to the DMP asking for remedicals. Maybe, if you can tell us your VO, you will get more help.

I asked my MP the same question and he told me to wait until the Visa Office contacts me.  Just in case they deny my application then I don't waste my money re-doing the medicals.

Wait until they ask your for redo medical. They will send you an official form written applicant name and file no. Some time VO can extend up to 3 months.Better wait until they ask to do .

Thanks Guys. I think i'll wait. The VO sent to me an email only asking me for some documents...but not new medicals yet....Let see what happen next.
