What happened if one of the memeber family didnot attend the interview

pls can anybody tell me what happened if one of the member family didnt attent the interview,i mean i am the principle applicant and my husband ,kids are all with the same file.for some circumstances my husband couldnt attent the interview,is that mean the interview will respond or what happened?
