In my wifes immigration package it keeps asking her for information on her and her family members whether they are accompanying her to canada or not. Does this just mean her childern or dependants? We dont have any. They arent clear about who this refers to. Im sponsoring my wife and noone else so who do we include when they ask her for information about her family members?

If your wife don't have any dependent children it is not applicable for her. For spousal sponsorship and immigration application spouse  and  dependent children are considered as family. Siblings and parents/grand parents are not.
