It means they sent you a letter to tell you if you are approved or not.

It likely means the application was incomplete and the letter tells you what is needed for further consideration.  They do not send out an approval (nor likely a denial) based on less than one day's consideration.

Actually, mine started processing on feb 26th and i got PPR email on feb 28th.
2 days, same as m-shqair.

Just wait for a letter, you will probably receive it in a week or so.
The letter will tell you what the decision is.

Its more likely you were accepted as a sponsor. Step 1, once they open ur application is very quick 1 to 2 days. They look to make sure you meet eligibilty to sponsor, thats why CPC - M can move so quickly. Mine said the exact same thing but different dates. I was approved.

No.. this is the standard SPONSORSHIP approval update, which is usually always decided in a day. You are confusing it with the more important permanent residence application (the second part of the process)

Hi, tgchi13 glad to see you back on the forum. (I went by an old username before and changed mine)
Anyway, I see in your signature that you got US approval. CONGRATULATIONS! How was that process?
You can PM me if you like.

P.S. Sorry I have nothing to share. However, if you applied Outland OP I would suspect that this would about the approval or denial of the sponsors portion of the application! Best of luck for good news.

For those of you that had your sponsorship appln approved did you receive a quick reply ( the same day as the original poster)?

My file says its been in process for over a week and nothing else? Is that bad news that the appln is incomplete?

No, at the time my approval as a Canadian born citizen took much longer than that to be rec'd.
