I think it depends on your occupation. If you are in the managment field of that code, which I understand to be hotel businness only then you can. But if you were managing some thing else then probably that would not be applicable. That is my understanding.

I am marketing manager of a pharmaceutical company. and perform duties of 0611 & 0632.

Thanks.

0632 is accomodation service managers. I dont think that pharmacutical marketing manager can perform same duties. But you know your job details better than any one else.

I am not an expert at Canadian Immigration. The CIC website is a great (if not the greatest) resource for Canadian Immigration. Also see http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/common-questions-t13225.0.html

Dear SASIF,
I have read your discussion which I find very useful.  I also appreciate your cooperation with other guys.
My case is also the same one...I am Language School Instructor at a school and my code should be 4141( classified elsewhere) but the main duties of this code also corresponds to the main duties of 4131 which is included in the list of 38 professionals by the Canadian ministry.
I have checked the main duties and found most of them in sync with 4131...
Should I apply for the skilled workers category?

Please reply

behzad,

what are you waiting for? what have you got to lose if you take the chance that may go in favour of your eligibility? if you feel positive then go for it! do it while you still can! remember, in november another ministerial list may come out which may further reduce the 38-job list. no one knows, for sure!
