Hi everyone, I am hoping that you all can help me with my visitor visa questions and concerns.  I have few months ago submitted a Federal Skilled Worker application and plan to visit Canada in a few weeks.  However, I am not sure if my applying for a visitor visa would be a problem since I clearly have the intention of immigrating to Canada in the future.

My questions are:
Will this be a cause of concern for the Canadian Immigration?
Will applying for visitor visa be difficult in light of my intention to immigrate?
Will applying for a visitor visa affects my Federal Skilled Worker application?
Or should I stay away from Canada for now??

Anyone could comment on these will be greatly appreciated.

Sharon

You have to mention in the Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) application whether you applied for any immigrant visas or not.

Since you have applied for the Federal Skilled Application, there are high chances that the Visa Officer might reject your TRV application since you intend to immigrate. There would be no problem with the processing of the Federal Skilled Application.
