Hi there,

Just had a small query, would be great if some one could answer.

I have applied for PR under skilled worker category and the CIO Sydney Nova Scotia office has received all my docs on Jul 25th 2011.
I received an email from the CIO saying my docs have been forwarded to the local VO in Sydney Australia which have been received by the VO on the 15th Nov 2011.

As per cas my application status states "In Process"
Now my questions are
1) Has the VO completed all the documents/background/security checks as per their process...coz as per the steps mentioned below in cas it says its only after review of the application and supporting documents being completed at the visa office does the application go to the next stage of "In Process" (which I m currently in)
2) Does that mean I should just be relaxed and be waiting for my Medicals now???
3) How long does the local VO take to send the Medical info post the time they receive the docs??
4) How long does it take to get the PR visa post submitting the Medicals....(Reason why I am asking is coz we are on a temporay visa in Aus which is due to expire in May 2012)

Steps under Application for Permanent Residence - Federal Skilled Worker submitted to the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) Sydney, Nova Scotia

Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) ELIGIBILITY REVIEW COMPLETE - The review at the CIO-Sydney has been completed. A letter with additional information has been mailed.

RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE - The application and documents have been received by the visa office.

VISA OFFICE ELIGIBILITY REVIEW COMPLETE - The review of the application and supporting documents has been completed at the visa office. A letter with additional information has been mailed.

WITHDRAWN - We withdrew your application and your file has been closed.

IN PROCESS - Based on review of your complete application package, it has been determined that your application is eligible for processing.
Processing has begun.

-Thanks and Regards
