Hello im a canadian citizen living in china.  I teach english here and I live here with my chinese wife.  My wife and I will be going to canada this winter to visit family.  This is her first time to Canada.  I was wondering if there is any documents we should bring with us that the boarder guards might request.  Thank you for your time.

we have the visa already, im just wondering if we should bring any additional documents?

I guess what I mean is do we need to provide documents at the airport like marriage certificate, proof of funds, copy of the invitation letter, stuff like that.

The POE officers do not necessarily look for other docs, only the visa on the passport. And you'd be arriving with your wife, and you're a citizen. Putting the docs attached to the visa app in a purse or something will be handy in case they do ask.
