Adelemama,
At the first stage, if it is the SAP, you only need to submit a three page application form that can be downloaded from CIC website, draft of your process fee and that of your husband and kids (if any) and representative form if you are making use of a representative. Acknowlegement will be sent to you later and when it is time for stage two a comprehensive documentation will be done by you after you might have been notified (This stage seems the longest).
At the first stage any added document may be returned. The reason for only form and payment proof at this stage is to remove the problem of another documentation when it is time for processing of the application to be processed.
I hope i have helped in my little way.

Adelemama,
SAP means Simplified Application Process. If you have submitted your document to your representative AOR which means Acknowledgement Of Receipt will be sent to him which he will notify or send to you as he is your rep all your information will have to go to him.
