i would like to know what do you mean by separated? because my husband got separated on his ex-wife then got his divorce after a year....then we got married...does it make trouble on my papers? coz my husband will sponsor me? plz help thankz

Separated means that you are still legally married but not living together. If your husband got a divorce from his ex-wife then they are divorced now (although they were separated before). All that matters is their current status. Others should be able to comment more but no, I don't think it will cause any problems for you on your application. Good luck!

Wondering what is the difference between the two?

Legal separation is when one of your marital partner file a petition with a Family division court. In here the assets if the family and debts are divided legally. The process may takes about 10 months.

Separation, this is where your marital partner moves out of the home. This does not require any legal formalities.
