My wife ( US Citizen ) our daughter & I (canadian citizen ) is thinking of moving back to canada from the usa.  I have been told it is easier & faster to do the canadian immigration in Canada.  IF so how or what do we say to the border when we have a moving truck & they are usa citizens & Im Canadian

Your wife can "visit" during the process...I would recommend along with many others here, to file an outland application thru Buffalo, as it is so much faster, even if she is with you in Canada.  You can most likely have your PR status before 1st stage approval with the inland application.  The other recommendation would be to file for Canadian Citizenship for your daughter, as she has that by right of birth seeing as you are a Canadian citizen.

I also recommend reading the first post in the forum "spousal sponsorship"  Leon did an amazing job covering a lot of information and situations that will most likely answer a lot of your questions if you are just beginning the process...

It may be....just because you are married, does not mean she has the right to come stay with  you.  You will have to prove ties back to the US.  Such as a lease/mortgage, job or anything else that proves she will go back when her visa expires.  Again for your daughter make sure that you have citizenship papers in order.  Once you get those, your daughter can come live with you but as I said before your wife can not move until she is granted her PR.  Another piece of information that you can get that may help is pay your fees for PR before you cross.

If you can not prove ties back to the US for you wife, then the officer can refuse her at the border.  You can move your stuff up to Canada but your wife's belongings can not all come at the same time.

Just remember that your wife is coming to VISIT not MOVE here until the PR process is complete....
