I am nothing if not romantic so I am getting her a pair of Giesswein slippers for the Canadian cold and made her a calendar at Zazzle full of pictures of Nelson British Columbia where we are moving too.

Neither of us or our families celebrate Christmas really, so it won't be a big thing. Her birthday is in January though, so she'll definitely get something nice. Last time I went on a trip to Vietnam, I got her a pearl necklace and matching earrings. I thought she didn't really like jewellery, but she really loved it. That said, I can't really suggest what she might get this time, since she reads this forum as well... don't want to spoil the surprise Wink

Get her an iPad on the black Friday because they are going to be cheap around $50 or 60.

Ipad won't be $50 thats impossible if u said they will be $50 less yes but a device that retails for over $200+ will not go to $50
