What about continuous possession of a Canadian driver's license or vehicle registration in Canada?

Hi

What about continuous possession of a Canadian driver's license or vehicle registration in Canada?

A drivers license has a validity of 5 years, you don't have to be in Canada to carry it.  Same for car registration, it could be parked or someone else is driving it.
