Hello,

I'm a perpective international student and planning to go canada.

But my primary intention is to get PR in canada not the masters degree. So, friends plz suggest me that what are the chances to get PR for international student.

I'm a civil engineer and this occupation has been eliminated in the new demand list of skilled worker catagories published by CIC. But I heard that after 1 year of full study in canada, international grauduates can still qualify to get PR either under Federal skilled worker program(FSW) or in Provincial Nominee program (PNP).

Keep in mind that I dont have any job offer/arranged employment by canidian employer.

Regrads.

Hi,

Where do you stay?  Please try some local consultants, they arrange study visa for a few thousand Rs.  They are the best to guide you in a systematic way.  Charges are also minimal.  BTW if you try to apply on your own you may face difficulties because you are choosing a one year course and also there should not be long gap in study.  Plus you have to prove that you are financial sound to support yourself during the period of study.

Good Luck
