Dear all, Please share your views/thought and discussion here that what are the chances of REJECTION after getting 2nd AOR and PR is IN-Process status. (whatever the message on E-case any applicant) , any steps mentioned anywhere? I now CIC mentioned some steps but not clear or complete either. so please share your views/thoughts/points (whatever you called) in this post. for example : Lack of points after getting 2nd AOR? if VO issued 2nd AOR then no worries about points? etc, becasue here in this forum lots of answer is still not enough to understand this process.
it will helpfull for others and me to know all the steps.

Strange, Nobody knows any reason of rejection after 2nd AOR and case is in-process? even you can share the step by step approval and rejection process which is not mentioned on CIC website clearly.

Dear what can somebody comment on it... Chances are same as at initial stage when you have sent your application to CIO. All points are calculated after getting 2nd AOR and it can lead to rejection if you don't have enough points.

OK, but the steps are completly not clear why they reject file if CIO approved it and count 67points, either buffalo issue 2nd AOR and case is in-process, I read and google search and got result that CHC issued 2nd AOR that means applicant is elligible and 67points awarded, if case is in pending review or reviewd doesnt matter, but some people says if case is under rivew and CHC issue 2nd AOR that not means CHC awarded 67points, so this kind of replies are create confussion. Dear CanadaHome, as already cleared by Pitta, chances are the same means, You get an NER, if your points are less than 67 or any of your required documents is missing(Ielts, Transcripts, POF etc) Same here your app may get rejected, if your documents are not proven to be original, or something bad comes up during the background checks, Regards, Nashe

I believe they issue 2nd AOR when they start looking at the file (as opposed to when it is received from CIO). There is a 2nd eligibility review performed at the visa office, although I believe this is just to make sure CIO didn't make any errors. "In Process" happens after the 2nd eligibility review. So IMO you cannot be rejected through reasons such as NOC duties not matching, insufficient points etc, once your file has gone "In Process". However, during processing your application will undergo firstly document background checks on educational documents, work experience documents (which may involve them contacting your employer), proof of funding etc. Secondly, after medical requests are issued, the application will undergo security checks. So once you are "In Process" the application can still fail if the visa officer is not satisfied with any of the document background checks, or if you are criminally or medically inadmissable to Canada as a result of the medicals or security checks. Greate Cappuccino, nice one, so if anyone any applicant under "Pending review" with 2nd AOR + In-process status don't have to worry about elligibility rejection, but they have to take care if requiered any transcript or proof of lates fund etc. Great I hope this will help others too.

Thats the most appropriate and logical reply I think but they have clearly written on the AOR that a final eligibility review will be made on the application before processing. (Very less chances of mistake in initial review before the issuance of 2nd AOR). I believe they issue 2nd AOR when they start looking at the file (as opposed to when it is received from CIO). There is a 2nd eligibility review performed at the visa office, although I believe this is just to make sure CIO didn't make any errors. "In Process" happens after the 2nd eligibility review.

I am quoting here some posts by Saki Hi
2nd AOR is just an acknowledgement that they have received your docs nothing else and when they will start processing it then there is a chance of rejection/acceptance. Normally visa office should send 2nd AOR within 2 weeks but this is the problem we are having from buffalo and london office they are taking 5 months to just acknowledge.
Cheers Saki
OK , so Saki you mean to say still after geting 2nd AOR , with status Review pending by Buffalo VO will cause problem of rejection , due-to lack of points or eligibility? please make me clear if possible. Mukund
Yes thats right, because they have not calculated your points yet, so if you are short of points or when they start processing there is some problem with your work experience etc there is still a chance of rejection. Right now they have just acknowledged that they have received your application and now its in queue for review.
Cheers Saki

I think some one can be rejected because of points at this stage as they are not calculated before sending 2nd AOR. This is the same information provided by saki above.

A recent case took place in which a forum member got Rejected after Medicals. Don't exactly remember that applicants name but from what i can recall, the reason was lack of duties performed by the applicant (which was very surprising as the applicant had already under gone medical examination). The member did forward a request for re-consideration, not sure what happened after that. It was a rare case though.
