Hi,

Please following the following thread:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/applications-after-266-in-any-noc-connect-here-to-get-the-status-t49421.4305.html

We're all discussing it on there. Unfortunately nobody has received an AOR yet, not even a post-encashment rejection.

People who have called CIC have been told some alarming figures for getting an AOR (33 weeks), which is very strange considering almost all of pre-June-26 applicants have now had AOR (or rejection), and CIC have confirmed they've done some eligibility reviews up to and into applications received in September.

So it seems like they are deliberately stalling. But if you follow the above thread you will soon pick up the discussions.

darshmodi:  As Wayne said, no one post 26/06 has had an AOR yet and we are desperate to know what the timeline is going to be under the new system.  Come and join us in the Applications after 26/06 thread.  We share facts and theories.  I guarantee you will be HOOKED!

Everyone I've heard who has contacted CIC has been told that the same team/people deal with FSW2 applications as FSW1 applications. So I don't think it will be much quicker.

The eligibility review will possibly be quicker, since there are no proof of funds which need checking, and they do not have to check that you have a year's continious employment in one of the 29 in demand occupations. They basically need to check your work experience and education levels etc to satisfy themselves that you make 67 points.

And, of course, as FSW2 the cap limits do not apply to you.

But I think FSW1 and FSW2 will start receiving AORs at a similar time (although no idea at this stage when that will be - anywhere from next week to April 2011 depending on which reports you believe).
