hi, i want to apply for a visitor visa. just want to ask, if its ok to give my application even if its the next 6weeks time is my desired date of leaving my home country to go to canada?

You are advised to apply for the visa well in advance to allow for possible delays in the processing of you application. Some visa offices can finish processing the apps in a day.
