we have just received a letter says my wife sponsorship approved and our file  sent to Buffalo for final process. they gave us client id. when we go check the online it shows like this

Sponsored Person               Sponsorship Application Status       Permanent Residence Application Status

XXXXX                               Decision made                               application received

my question is while it says decision made for sponsorship status, why it says only Application received and medical result received for permanent residence application Status. it made me little confused. i appreciated all answers:)

Yanik,

I think - for security reason, they do not disclose all the information in web (e-CAS). If the status is "decision made" you will have to wait for the passport and kit.

They do not disclose whether your process ended with positive success or negative success.

it means ur sponsorship application is approved by missicauga n has been transferred to ur Buffalo visa office for further processing for Permanent Residence...
 now ur file has been recieved by buffalo office...

Yug is right...you have been accepted as a sponsor and now the package has been send to Buffalo. Now is when the waiting game starts...

Thank you very much for the answers. Do you guys have any idea how long it may take to buffalo office to finish process my case? it say decision made but  do buffalo office will ask me more document etc?

Buffalo has been VERY incosistent with their files...No one can tell you how long it will take...they say 80% of cases are finalized in 11 months....

Some go through quicker, others are at the 11 to 12 month time frame now from the past year....All you can do is wait and wait and wait some more...lol

Another suggestion...as hard as it is...try NOT to compare your time line with anyone else's as each and every case is different and they all go to different officers...
