Dear
We completed our medicals in april
I sent an enquiry to london cic in june and yesterday
And both times i got the following reply
""Please be advised that your application is awaiting a background review by an immigration officer. We will write to you when we are in a position to do so.
We hope this information is of assistance to you.
The High Commission""
What does this reply mean? And my wife is pregnant 6 weeks we really
Want to land before delivery. I want to change careers as im not happy here and
My time is being wasted.
If we had to go after baby born then how much time does it take to complete the process? My wife date
is on 7 march 2012 and medical expire in april

My time line is very much similar to yours.
VO-LONDON
Medicals submitted april 2011.
Address is disappeared since 12th july 2011.
We are also desperately waiting for ppr.
We got same reply as well.Your file is awaiting background check by immigration officer.

I've been there feeling what u feel and in fact most of us. But you need to have faith and be positive, your time will come and hopefully soon. I am also waiting and hoping to get ppr after doing our 2nd medical. Stay strong and give ur wife lots of peaceful times, she shouldn't be stress being pregnant. All the best!

Hi Singh, I do not want to give you false hopes and sincerely hope that you get your VIsas soon. But the reality is that you are a Pre 26th Jun applicant and the processing times for these applicants have been increased considerably (2ys- std answer from CIC). Mitali |

Hi, I fully understand your situation.But be assured that you are very near to receive your PPR.As per reply from London,your BG checks are completed now and your file is just waiting for a BFD to be reviewed by an IO,so that a PPR could be issued to you.If you want to know about your BFD date order your CAIPs ,in that case you will have clear idea when could they issue you a visa. Another option is that you could request London ,if possible,to finalize your early due to your wife's pregnancy issue.I read experience of an applicant who had the same issue and was granted visa. There is a possibility that the VO will wait for you to have your child, send ppt details, additional info form for you and your spouse, the principal application and may be the medicals once again. I guess its better to just wait and see. I wish you good luck but please relax and let the stress of the application not rob you from the joy of having your baby. |
