Dear All:

I applied for PR under H1B program in Feb'09. I was on H1B till Aug'09, but lost job and had to get back to home country. Now, my PR still under processing and I am out of US. My Questions are:-

1) Am I still eligible to get PR under AINP?
2) If not, Is there any way available for me to get PR under same program? What I can do to save my application?
3) I have pay stub available till Jul'09, will they consider my application if I tell them my actual situation?

Guys Please advice!! If somebody in the same situation, Please share your experiences.....

Look forward to hear from you......

Technically if your application reached AINP before Feb 19th, then you are still eligible.

Dear albertaorbust:
Thanks for your reply!!!! My application reached there on Feb'26,2009, so is there any chance that they will consider my application?
Usually, Do they contact US employer to check applicants status in USA?

Please advice if I have any option available and how AINP process applications.

Look forward to hear from you......

I would suggest to call and ask them and clear your situation. I don't know what else you can do.
I know of only one case where they called the employer.
BTW, what was the post mark date on your package when AINP received it on feb 26th?

Thanks for your reply!!!!! I mailed it on Feb 22nd and I thing it reached there on Feb 26th, 09. Just curious, Do you know if there are any rejections by AINP (H1B) because of not maintaining H1B status?
