Well dear looking at your letter it seems to me rejection. I heard the same language in rejection but you need to wait until the formal intimation letter comes to you. will you please share your timeline ?

Hi Silvercup,

Did you apply for "Temporary Resident visa (TRV)" or Permanent Residency (PR)? From the response that you have received, it seems that they are referring to a TRV application.

If you had applied for PR then they must have send you this email by mistake and you can send them a case specific email with the reference to the error.

Finalised means they have concluded/finished with the application you sent. The response to that application is contained in the letter sent your address.

The tone of the letter to me does not sound like rejection however for a definitive answer you must wait for letter.
