Our application was in Buffalo and was In Process. This was the second round as the first part of the sponsorship process was approved. So it had been mailed to Buffalo and had an "in process" date of September 1st. I just decided to log in today to see if there was anything. Well, the in process part was gone and it was back to the very first 'decision made' that was there a few months ago. When I click it, it still has the info from back in May when the first part was approved. No new updated dates, etc.
Has anyone else had this happen? Does anyone know what it could mean?

Apparently ecas is having another technical problem, I'm sure it'll return to normal soon!!

Okay. I will not bother calling for another few days. Hopefully there will be a fix to this. Because I figured if it was denied, would they not have an update that would say 'decision made' again? But this time on my partners part of the paperwork. Because mine was approved.
I will keep everyone posted, just in case.

Maybe the final decision has actually been made and they're about the contact you and ask to send in your passport so they can input the visa.

If a decision had been made, wouldn't it say 'decision made?'
Also, I tried to log in again today, and after entering all of the info I always enter when logging in, I got this: "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:"
And then a list of reasons. I am really confused.

lol the sad thing is that "normal" for e-cas is aiming terribly low... I'd be happy with marginal improvements  |

The site is back up and running just fine, but my 'in process' is still gone. Anyone ever have this happen before?
I should state that there is now something new next to 'decision made.' The decision made info is the same info from back in May when the first part was approved. BUT, there is now 'application received' next to decision made. When I click on application received, I get this: We received ***** application for permanent residence on August 31, 2011.
Medical results have been received.
And then that's all. So is that the same thing as 'in process'?

I would't trust the ecas. My application still says "application received" even though the embassy has already started processing our papers (I know this since they had asked for additional documents). If anything changes in your application, you'll know first before the ecas is updated, if they do update it.
