Got in for two weeks with literally zero problems, just showed them my return ticket and got a cab to my girlfriends' place!!!! The entire process took no more than two minutes Smiley

Thank you all so much for the help, who knows, if things go well in the future I might be asking about spousal support in the near future, haha! Take care everyone, I am so happy, you are all wonderful people.

Yes you are not alone on this! My husband flew into the Ottawa International Airport and he almost had a breakdown(so did I actually). My mother and I waited an hour not knowing what was going on. Then this Brit comes out and calls my name. Asked if I knew my husband (then boyfriend) if he was staying with me and how long and who was bringing him back to the airport. When I finally got to talk to my husband, he was very upset. They tore through his luggage, his laptop and tried to go through his phone but it died. They also interrogated him about where he was going. I live in a VERY small town, population 400. When my husband said he was saying in this small town, they said it didn't exist and to stop making things up! Oooh I was mad!

Long rant short, you're not alone. The Border people have a way of being dinks! Smiley

Do they always do this?? I don't want to experience that kind of brutality ever, everrr again. on my 3rd visit to US, they denied my entry because they weren't convinced that I would return to my country ( I have a return ticket..probably because my visa will expire after a year --- i got multiple visit entry). If I apply for a tourist visa in canada, what would the chances be of me getting my application approved? or perhaps denied?Thanks..
