Want to Sponsor Wife and Baby but I am not in Canada
I am Canadian PR & want to sponsor my wife and baby but presently I am living with my family in UAE and not in Canada.

I read on the web that it is possible to Sponsor if a sponsor is not in Canada but he/she has to prove. What is that prove and how can I prove that I really want to live in Canada with my family?

Only Canadian citizens can sponsor spouses and dependent children while living abroad.

I don't know what "sponser" means - can someone explain?  If you are a Canadian PR, does that mean you are a Canadian native?  Are your wife and child not from Canada?
