want to apply for Open wok permit

Hi
Can anybody help me in this case as i am on currently visitor visa and my husband is on work permit. Can i apply for open work permit and change my visitor visa to open work permit.please let me know the documents and form to fill .do i need a employer offer letter ?

Hi,Please you can give me some info about NOC.WHAT IS mean of NOC A,B,and O.Is live in caregiver under this catagary.LIC Program can apply her/his spouse for open wp?

No, spouses of LIC are not eligible for Spousal Open Work Permit. See: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Welcome.aspx

Hi,
Thanks for reply,i have one more question ,i already apply for open wp and PR in dec/2011.i m live in caregiver,if i applied for spousal open wp and my spouse got refusal,then it will effect my PR + OPEN wp ?

Hi Aman82,

You included your spouse as your dependent when on your PR application. You dont need to apply again for a Spousal OWP as it will get refuse.

As PMM posted, "spouses of LIC are not eligible for Spousal Open Work Permit."
