this is my 2nd post more questions.. how long does the whole process take...where do we get married because as of right now he cannot come over.. what steps do i take and in what order.. pls help signed debbie// i got the link you sent but i am not familier with what steps to take......signed sincerely debbie

You marry him, then sponsor him for Permanent Residence in Canada. Read through the guide here, for starters.

If he can't enter Canada you will have to travel to him to get married.

It doesn't matter where you get married.

Assuming you apply outland (this will likely be the fastest option given he's from the UK), here are the approximate processing timelines:

Step 1 (sponsor approval) - about a month of processing at the Mississauga office
Step 2 (applicant approval) - approximately 2-8 months at the London office

So your totaly processing time will be approximately 3-9 months.

That just means they have to be processed through London not Buffalo. Doesn't affect anything else.

Why can he not enter Canada? If he is being refused entry for some reason this might need to be sorted out before you even think about submitting a PR application.
