Waiting to get back passport from NY office

It has been a week NY office received my passport.

I send Pre-paid Fedex envelop,

does anyone know what time usually NY office give envelops to fedex?
what is best time to check fedex website?

Its depend on VO, but max assume that 3days to 1week (max).

Fedex website update check after 9PM EST , I have fedex account since last 5years, I just look my updates after 9pm EST all updates will there in complete details, even you can get e-mail notification.

Mostly afternoon time, becasue embassies, big corporate offices, some govt.offices allowed to send courrier at end of the day, they recieved any time.

I sent my passport to NY last week too with USPS express pre-paid envelope. Still waiting. Hopefully 2 weeks.
 @ Parulkrish, I tot visa offices say never to use fed-ex, ups etc. They only use it if it is sent from business offices. They require usps for individual returns. So, they might return yours using regular mail (usps).
