Hi All,
This new post is to get an idea from other members of this forum, who have been asked by London visa office to submit IMMIGRANT SUMMARY FORM, about the waiting time for their next stages during their PR visa processing.

I have submitted this form in April, 2010 along with my medical results but till now no update from the consulate about the next steps. The ecas states the application is "in process".

Why is it that only some of the applicants have to submit this form and is it always an indication of a long waiting time once this form has been requested by the visa office.

Thanks.

After sending personal pm to most applicants from London Visa Office I found out that literally it is all the Pakistani applicants who r requested these forms.

I do not believe that is true as I am not a Pakistani National but definitely I am not British. May be all non British citizens are required to submit this form when they apply for their visa from London CHC or may be because I have travelled many times to US and twice to Canada earlier. That could be the reason why I have been requested for this IMMIGRANT SUMMARY FORM.

Any case I would love to hear from other members in this forum about their experience when they have been asked to submit this form.

Dear Painz

I send my medical on 5th of MAR, 2009 and till now my status show in process and "we have received your application on 01, Aug, 2006"
and I send an email to CHC London they replayed that "Routine background checks" and what I think is more related to the countries that u have visited I have been into: Syria, Iraq, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Indonesia, Thailand, this is not the scary part, the thing that make u frustrated is that there are some countries once the CSIS contact their agencies they delay on the replay like Syria and sometimes never replay on the CSIS request.

The whole process become frustrated and it is now for me now six months after medical and I don't know when this going to be end.

Good luck for u and please share with me if u have any update regarding your case.
