Waiting my PR..please help

Hey..
I am a libanese girl married with an canadian citizen since October 2007. We applied for the PR in 25 February 2008, I got my B number in June-4-2008. We filled a very good file containing lots of picture from family meeting, our wedding, our honeymoon, the time I spent in USA as a visitor, cause my husband live there with a Green Card, our emails, our marriage certificate, the medical exam and all they we need to have a full file.
The file was transfered from USA to the canadian embassy in Damascus, Syria, because of the fact that I am Lebanese. my file is in Syria since september, and till now we didn't get any reply from them on our emails and letter asking about the processing issue. I am in Lebanon since august cause my Visitor visa to USA had end, and I am very sad and angry to be away from my husband.
Can anyone help me please with any information that he has concerning the proccessing time in Syria, it is been 8 month since i got my B number...please help.

Processing timelines show  Damascus at 3-6 months, so you're still just within normal limits.  If you're sure they were updated with your new address when you left the United States, you should be hearing something from them soon. 

In the meantime, your husband can order the CAIPS notes to get more information . . . they take 5-6 weeks to receive, but if you're still waiting on word by then, you'll be glad to have them.  At that point he can make an inquiry on your behalf - maybe even through his MP's office, if they're cooperative.

concerning the mail address, we have provide them from the begining of our file proccessing by our lawyer office address, he is the one handling our case.
But what is really making me very worried is that they haven't reply on our emails neither fax sent by the lawer. We only got a letter  3 weeks ago telling us that my file was transfered from USA to Damscus...can u believe that, that file was received there in September, and I got the letter of receiving the file in January...5 month to say yes...we have the file..
