Waiting longer than stated time.

Has anyone other than myself waited longer than the alloted time to hear about sponsorship approval?  If so, how long did you wait and what was the outcome (accepted/denied/incomplete application)?

Thanks Kedeisha, I've phoned the call centre twice now and they still don't know what my status is.  They have admitted themselves that this is very unusual that I haven't heard yet, or that there is nothing on the system for them to tell me.  I

t's now 43 days, anyone in the same predicament, or were?

thats rather strange did u ask if they received your application because if they did someone should know something...i really hope its not lost

Yes, they received my application, because he asked me to verify who I was to make sure it matched with what they have on the system.

ok well i guess tomorrow u can call and speak to them and ask them if u are missing any docs just something so u can get an idea

I waited the allotted amount of days, and they were able to pull my file, told me it was in process, and still a couple of days later I had no info so called them back and got that it was approved....

If they have you in the system, could they not tell you the status of the application??

When I called the first time I was not in the system yet, but when I called the second time I was in the system and they told me exactly what was missing from my application and that it had been returned to me.

I am really surprised that if they have you in the system that they would not have any other information. I suggest calling again and asking them exactly what it says in your file.
