waiting 'IN PROCESS' for 4 years

Hi All

I applied to Canadian immigration in November 2006, in the catagory of skilled worker. This coming November, it will be 4 years. Whenever I check online, the status is IN PROCESS. Now they say that some cases from Pakistan (I applied from Islamabad Pakistan) have been shifted to the London office to finish the backlog, while a minimum number are being handled in Islamabad still.

I would like to know if anyone can help out by giving some info, maybe through their experience/ Thanks

well dear just looking at your case...I guess you must order CAIPS Notes that will give you the exact idea whats going on with your file.

i m also in the same boat. applied in sep 2006 from islamabad and status is in process since the day 1.

I applied in Dec' 06 from Islamabad and the status is still 'in process'.
do keep in touch and update incase you receive any correspondance.

I don't wanna give any false hope to you guys, whether your files have been transferred over to London or are still in Pakistan., the processing time for old applicants will probably remain same, i.e. 5-7 years for Pakistani applicants. I know you have all come through a long way but probably it requires bit more patience. Hoping and praying that all you guys hear something soon in near future.
