IELTS Request: Sent with application 8.5 overall

« on: April 27, 2011, 05:40:42 am »

Have always been interested in migrating to Canada but previously did not meet the requirements of 2 years work experience for skilled workers. Recently flew to Canada and decided to check out the Canada immigration website and was delighted to find out that my job, pharmacist, is still on the list of occupations needed.

However, by the time I checked it in March, all slots allocated to pharmacists had already been filled.

I am planning to apply again in June.

Judging from how fast slots for pharmacists were filled, do you guys think that pharmacist will be on the list again?

Right now I am just at the stage of gathering all the documents and going for my IELTS next month but I am so nervous that pharmacist is not going to be on the list for this year.

This is my second try after first attempt of failure to provide enough evidence of work experience in July 2011. If you don't try again, you will never know.

There is nothing much you can do about it.  However, do not apply in June unless you are sure that your application will not arrive at CIC until July 1st.  If it arrives on June 30th and your CAP is full, they will send it back.
