1. I tried to change the address myself, 2 weeks ago, I submitted the update and the address didnt change 2. tried to get through to CIC call center everyday, finally got to a live person, the not so smart person on the other end said he will change it manually, and had no clue why it changed, 3 days now my address on ecas is still the wrong one  I don't mind a glitch or some sort, but I hope they didn't update my file with someone elses form. If we got AIP and waiting 2nd stage the file is at Vergeville not my local office right? is the Ottawa office suppose to be very very slow? I believe when you get the second stage approval your file will be transfered to your local office. And yes, I think Ottawa office is very slow. HANG IN THERE!!! We are almost there!!!  |

Yeah, I know that it takes 90 days for any attachment to the file. Such long waiting times. But its just thousands of others doing the same thing we are!

I believe when you get the second stage approval your file will be transfered to your local office. And yes, I think Ottawa office is very slow. HANG IN THERE!!! We are almost there!!! can I phone agent tell if the 2nd stage approval is issued or if the file is at my local office? Only thing my local office would do is land me right? Does Verigville send out the DM letters or local office? my address is still wrong online omg |

I believe the Ottawa office will send the letter not vegreville. Keep us update!!! |

Well,
I've got news. I've been told there have been unusual delays with the RCMP, it can take another 5 months for my checks to go through. @ *&^%$#. That makes 26+ months for my application.

I called last friday. The agent could not give me any new information other than my background checks are still ongoing. I got so frustated, luckily I decided to check my mail when I got home and I found a note saying my FOSS Notes arrived on thursday and I could pick them up on friday after 1pm at the post office. I got them.

Any clue what all this means? Why can't these people simply write something that everyone can read and UNDERSTAND what it means. Or at list provide signification of codes along with the FOSS notes. That would make the job so easy for us. Cheers......... |

I just got my AIP last week and I don't think I'll get second stage approved soon since I have a kid outside Canada.

I provided medical receipt & criminal record from my hometown & New Zealand with my application. Although these didn't show on my Ecas but I knew they received it because these info showed on the foss which I ordered on April 2011.
I provided my son's medical receipt things & passport copies to CIC-V on July 2011.
My son is living with my ex now and he is not applying PR this time.
Good luck to everyone ...
I'm thinking to order FOSS tomorrow to see if I can get any info.

did the CIC agent till you about the delay? they started on my app in June 2010, got my AIP in Dec 2010.... probably be faster if I cancel the Inland and apply via outland.. damn how is it there tons of people who's app started in Oct/Nov/Dec and already got DM? wtf |

I know it's been a long wait for all of us. Let's hope they will work in our applications soon. You should order your FOSS to see what work isbeen done in your file . |
