Waiting for Medical Request since July 15, 2010

Hi Guys,

 I hope this starts an open forum regarding those families still waiting for their Medical Request coming from the CEM since sending the required fees and addl documents on July 15, 2010 - onwards. Me and my family have been reading forums and we still cant seem to understand whats taking them so long to review the documents. The waiting game is slowly driving me mad. And it seems the said request will be sent via post mail (snail mail) rather than thru email which adds more to the waiting madness. 
 If someone out there experiences the same dilemma, please feel free to comment or share your ideas as well. An exchange of insight can definitely help ease some confusion. Its been 5 long months of waiting and still counting. If there is a way for us to check on the status of our application rather than the usual "IN PROCESS" then nothing follows thing  that we see on the CEM`s site that can help, I`ll be glad to hear more from it, but I doubt it if there are other ways. I hope 2011 speeds up everything .

Are you under MPNP? Usual waiting time for updates is 1-5 months. If you check on your AOR, it will actually take 11 months to complete the process. You are still within the time frame.

Good things come to those who wait. =) Have patience. It will arrive soon. Who knows, after your MR, it will only take a few weeks for your PPR.

Yes we are under Provincial Nomination. And yes indeed, Patience is a virtue. But still, cant help but think if there are still probabilities that our application would be denied. I hope this waiting would result to something good for me and my family. Whats bothering me though is that, I cant seem to find a way to divert my attention from this waiting feeling, would you call this a torture of excitement or a panic tension for the result rather?

Anyways, its still good to hear encouraging words from you.

while it may be true that july applicants are being serve at the moment, we can also see that some have much luck. they are getting theirs in just a month. as one of us says, we should forget for the meantime.

Hi Room,

Its good to hear that atleast we are waiting for something special for ourselves and our families. Rather than just sitting and waiting for mere luck to knock on our lives, definitely, I am more than thankful that we were given the opportunity and resources to migrate. Although, its been hours-days-months of waiting, I still consider it a blessing for my family. Nevertheless, We have no other choice but to wait, wait and wait. So let this waiting take its own course! Merry Christmas batchmates..

Reading from here helps us all prepare for this much awaited MR.
Like preparing those medical certificate from previous Hospital we have been.

                            We are almost on the same track.. I and my Fiance was approved under MPNP last March 2010 but received  our LOA last MAY 2010, we have submitted all the documents they required such photos etc.  coz in our case we are under "COMMON LAW PARTNER"  So we did it, we submitted everything also the RPRF last JULY 24, 2010. Until now we haven't received heard anything from them. We're planning to get married early nextyear but still seeking advice if that will not a cause of delay once we received our medical request. We are really confused... Please advice us. Thank you and Goodluck to all of us.

Hello Redge,

Its a good thing that we are off on the same foot waiting for the next step to come. Anyways, regarding your concern, personally, I would rather wait for the outcome of this nomination program before tying the knot with your soon to be better half. Besides, I feel that there is no doubt that you are both meant for each other, right!. And with the kind of government procedures we have here as far as legal documentations are concerned, would you rather go through the long process and complicate the matter at hand? But this is a personal opinion for me okey. Fellow forum contributors, we would appreciate hearing your opinions with regards to this. I also think that If you would rather change your marital status to MARRIED, all you need to do is to contact the CIC and keep them updated as well.

Until now I haven't received anything back.also when I use my client ID no. login to the e-cas it always say they were not able to identify me by using the information I provided. I am wondering can u login your e-cas? and what they say "in process"?
