Waiting after CSIS interview

Hi there, I applied in-land in July 2009 through spousal sponsorship category.

I had my background check and CSIS interview in July 2011. I haven't heard back since and it says online that my file is with the local office.

Anybody else been in a similar situation? Any thing I can do to get a status update more useful than a usual, "still in background check"

well it depends what they asked you and how you responded to those questions do you think interview with csis went smooth and they were satisfied with your answers then you shouls soon hear from them other than that you can always order Foss notes but I personally don;t think it would help you more than knowing that they still conducting BC. Why exactly the interview with CSIS needed did they have some issues on your file?

I think you have to make a certain number of posts (?10) before you can pm someone

How do I find out where my file is currently? Check with CSIS if they still have my file? What's the procedure?

I also read about CBSA getting involved in another user's case. When does that happen and what's the likelihood of them getting involved in mine as well and delay the process further?
